Caleb Smith

Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Caleb is an M.S. student in NC State’s Department of Nuclear Engineering. After completing his undergraduate degree in the department, he continued his work with the Plasma for Life Sciences group, where his research focuses on the design, characterization, and optimization of atmospheric pressure plasma jets for environmental sustainability applications. He plans to pursue a Ph.D. in plasma science and engineering to support the development and fundamental understanding of atmospheric pressure plasma systems.
