The annual meeting of NCSU’s Nuclear Engineering Department Advisory Council (NEDAC) and its Undergraduate Subcommittee was conducted in early May. Members represent utilities, engineering firms, national laboratories, and peer academic programs. This day and half consultation event provides feedback on a vast array of topics – recruitment, retention, scholarships and awards, peer partnerships, space allocations, faculty and student research as well as alumni development.

The US News and World Report ranks us 4^th in the nation among nuclear engineering programs; the review and recommendations of these members help to propel us.
