About:
Jett is an undergraduate researcher. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Nuclear Engineering from NC State University. His academic and professional journey reflects a curiosity and strong passion for nuclear fusion and plasma technology.
Research Interests:
Jett’s research focuses on plasmas as they relate to fusion technology. He is particularly interested in exploring plasma diagnostics. Through his work, he aims to develop technology that improves NBI systems and plasma confinement.
Current Projects:
Jett is currently working on B-dot probe measurements on LUPIN, a prototype of AMAROK, an RF source that will upgrade DIII-D’s NBI system. His work is part of a broader effort to reduce losses and advance fusion technology.
Outside the Lab:
When not immersed in research, Jett enjoys playing the drums and watching the Carolina Hurricanes.
