About:
Jack Falcoz-Vigne is an undergraduate student supporting the FPAC LAB research effort using NC State’s CAMAL facility. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University. His academic focus is currently on material science in nuclear engineering.
Current Projects:
Jack is currently assisting with research on additively manufactured tungsten as a plasma-facing material. This work assists in potentially finding optimal and economical materials to use in plasma applications, especially in fusion reactor systems.
Outside the Lab:
When not doing work, Jack loves to read, watch movies, and drink coffee. He’s tried nearly every coffee spot in Raleigh, and you can probably find him at any cafe on Hillsborough street or on campus throughout the week.
