About:
Colin is a undergraduate student in the Nuclear Engineering department at NC State, Working towards their bachelors in nuclear engineering. He is currently pursuing undergraduate research in the Fusion Plasma Auxiliaries Characterization Lab, working to advance fusion energy.

Research Interests:
Colin is interested in spectroscopy, the measurement of light to learn about physical systems. He is particularly interested in applying spectroscopic techniques to nuclear fusion, using them for diagnostics and data analysis to better understand and support the development of fusion plasmas.

Current Projects:
Colin is currently working on plasma diagnostics for AMAROK, specifically, designing a fast spectroscopy system.

Outside the Lab:
When not working, Colin enjoys going to the gym, hiking, and woodworking.
