Research Facilities

HPC Facility

The RDFMG cluster provides powerful computational resources to the Nuclear Engineering research groups at NCSU. The cluster currently provides users with 3712 computing cores.

Nuclear Simulation Laboratory

The Nuclear Simulation Laboratory is equipped with a Generic Pressurizer Water Reactor (GPWR) simulator and a High-Temperature Gas Cooled Reactor (HTGR) simulator to support nuclear power related educational curriculum as as analytical studies.
