This research uses dynamic light scattering (DLS) to determine the viscosity of high-temperature liquids, such as molten salt, by measuring the Brownian motion of suspended nanoparticles. A fiber optic-based setup is used to deliver and collect light directly within the fluid, allowing for quick and high-throughput measurements.
