Alina Jugan

Alina is an undergraduate student in nuclear engineering. She intends to pursue accelerated bachelor/master’s degrees (with a minor in physics) and then continue on towards her PhD. She was originally drawn to nuclear from an interest in fusion and the science behind energy production. Since then, her interests have expanded to include advanced reactors like molten salts as well as plasma physics. Ultimately, in her future, she plans to work in national and international research labs and projects to advance our reactors. Outside of education, she enjoys her plants (every sunlit surface is covered with them), rock climbing, fiction writing, puns, and dragons.
