Her research is predominantly focused on nuclear criticality safety. She is currently employed at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Manufacturing Manager within the Associate Laboratory Directorate of Weapons Production (ALDWP). In 2017, she received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining &amp; Technology. In 2021, Sharbrenai joined the nuclear engineering department where she earned a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering (MNE) and a Graduate Certificate in Health Physics (GCHP) while working as a process engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sharbrenai Holyk is a PhD candidate under the advisory of Dr. Robert Hayes.
