Ishita Trivedi placed 2nd at the American Nuclear Society (ANS) inaugural competition – Pitch your PhD. Students were asked to give a three-minute presentation, captivating an audience of their peers who voted for the best pitches. Trivedi’s work is on the “Uncertainty Quantification and Propagation Methodology for Safety Analysis of Lead-cooled Fast Reactors”. Her faculty adviser is Dr. Jason Hou.
The competition was co-sponsored by the Young Member Group (YMG) and Education, Training and Workforce Division (ETWDD) at the June annual meeting.
