Research Description<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I am working part-time and remotely towards a Master\u2019s of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering. My research focus area is evolving, however I have an interest in the safety claims and risk analysis related to the deployment and operation of mobile uranium fuel reactors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia, with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past 30 years I have worked as a structural, fa\u00e7ade and blast engineer in Australia, London (England), and New York City. Currently, I serve in the Australian Regular Army as an Engineering Officer posted to the Australia Submarine Agency. I am responsible for the delivery of radiological control facilities for submarine maintenance and radiological waste processing. I have been deployed to theatres in Afghanistan and Iraq and with the United Nations forces to South Sudan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
