Research Description

I am a visiting scholar working on applying text-mining to analyze operational event reports, such as licensee event reports of U.S. NRC and INES event reports of IAEA, to data-inform the development of model-based Human Reliability Analysis (HRA) methodologies.

Background

I received a B.S. in Computer Engineering and M.S. in Control Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology. Before joining NCSU, I worked for the Japanese Government in the following roles:

  • Patent examiner (five years)
  • Fukushima reconstruction administrator (two years)
  • AI system prototyping team member (one year)
