Research Description
I am working toward my Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Engineering. My research focus is on methods development for:
- Multi-hazard PRA techniques supported by fragility analysis.
- Integrated dynamic PRAs for advanced reactors.
- Machine learning techniques applied to dynamic PRAs.
Background
I obtained my B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt and an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from NC State. I have been doing research in the field of nuclear transient analysis and benchmarking of research reactors, and nuclear data generation.
