Open Positions

Applicants for the Ph.D. program should have obtained or will obtain, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Condensed Matter Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. While prior experience with materials synthesis/manufacturing, advanced microstructural characterization, electrochemistry, and mechanical/thermal property measurements is highly valued, it is not essential.

The successful candidate is expected to have expertise in one or more of the following areas: materials synthesis and characterization, electrochemistry, advanced microstructural characterization, and mechanical/thermal property measurements.
