The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) Annual Meeting & Exhibition 2025 was held in Las Vegas, NV from March 23 – 27, 2025. Bobby and Rashed, along with Dr. Lingfeng had the chance to visit it. Dr. Lingfeng presented a talk on March 24 titled as “Molten Salt Corrosion of Additively Manufactured Stainless Steels”. Bobby presented a talk about corrosion behavior of Ni- 19Cr – 5Fe in Molten NaCl – MgCl2 salt.
Rashed had the opportunity to present a talk on in-situ irradiation of Uranium Carbide and Zirconium Carbide and he also presented a poster on “In-situ TEM analysis of ion irradiated Zirconium Carbide and Zirconium Nitride at high temperatures”.
