Teaching
- NE 795 Introduction to the Finite Element Method (Spring 2024)

Linear finite element method will be introduced, including integral forms and variation methods. One-dimensional boundary value problems, and multidimensional problems. Basic element type, design, and programming concepts will be covered. Transient analysis, error analysis, constraint media problems will de discussed. Advective and diffusive systems will be analyzed.
- NE795 Phase-field modeling in MOOSE (Fall 2024)

Modeling and simulation of microstructural evolution during phase transformation in solids; spinodal decomposition, nucleation, ordering, solidification, grain growth, precipitation, sintering, stress effects on solid-state transitions, fracture and crack propagation, effective properties of heterogeneous solids, and irradiation-enhanced/induced phenomena; primary focus on finite-element and phase-field methods and the utilization of advanced, open-source software MOOSE to implement them.
