Farah Alsafadi

Research

Farah is currently working on the applications of deep generative models (DGMs) in nuclear engineering, with a specific focus on thermal hydraulics. Her goal is to address the data scarcity issue commonly encountered when working with high-cost experimental data. This research has the potential to enhance the application of machine learning algorithms in fields with limited datasets. In addition to her current project, Farah is interested in various aspects of nuclear engineering and scientific computing, including inverse uncertainty quantification of computer models, sensitivity analysis, verification and validation and applications of scientific machine learning models in nuclear engineering.
